Birmingham Sound Matter
At the end of Febuary, we are facilitating a re-visit to Birmingham by Spanish sound artist Francisco Lopez, who last year gave a ‘Total Darkness’ performance at Modulate. This year, we have invited him to return to direct a project called Birmingham Sound Matter, where he will work together with a number of selected musicians and sound artists from the West Midlands. The results of this intensive creative process will be presented later in 2009, via a live performance in Birmingham. Supported by Arts Council England and PRS Foundation.
